At first the Swine Flu was only affecting Mexico. Obviously the U.S. wasn't concerned about it, until people were too naive to cancel their trips to Mexico, and vice versa. Precautions we are taking against the swine flu are washing hands frequently, not being near or in contact with a person that is ill and some people have even taken to carrying around small, transportable bottles of hand sanitizer. Some people may laugh at this; carrying around small bottles of hand sanitizer usually would make a person seem like a germaphobe, but not in times like this. The Swine Flu is one level below turning into a pandemic. The symptoms of Swine Flu are fevers, coughing, sneezing, sore throats and sometimes nausea and diarrhea. There has been one death in the U.S. but there have been a total of 155 cases so far. This is a serious time, and we all need to keep ourselves and others safe.
